A grand entrance

This is the first floor foyer of the National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh.  It's collections include nature, design, fashion, science, art and technology.  The museum is currently going through an exciting redevelopment, adding more floor-space thus enabling them to exhibit more than ever before.  This museum is in no way 'stuffy' or 'boring'.  It's very modern, interactive, suitable for all ages and covers a wide range of interests and collections from both home and abroad.  The architecture is stunning.
