What has happened to our weather - it has been grey and drizzling on and off all day - yet still quite muggy. I am not ready to say goodbye to summer just yet...

Adam arrived home at about 2am last night - his Squeezy Jet flight from Prague was delayed by and hour and a half so he got in even later than expected. He had a great time with his friends, and they did plenty of sight seeing and even attended some classical concerts, so it was not just a week long drinking session, despite the very cheap beer.

The sailors have finally arrived in Las Palmas and will fly home tomorrow. They had very strong winds with big swells so the journey was not comfortable, and they had to change course due to the wind direction and so got there later than expected. Gavin said that in the 10 days at sea they only had 2 days of sunshine, which is unusual for this time of year.

Adam agreed to let me take a photo of him - I see he needs to find his razor and get to the barber!
