Paris 87/16

Delightful bit of rain this morning ... Got to work in the studio. After lunch -2 boats with friends arrived at the dock and buoy for an annual visit ..Lots of chatting, a trip into the marina in their fast whaler for milk and ice cream, a fabulous salmon on the grill dinner brought and made by the 4 of them eaten al fresco -the weather had cleared up but no grand sunset for them tonight.
But I'm going to cheat with this blip of a gargoyle on Notre Dame in Paris ... A picture I took at Christmas 1987 of 19 yo son#2. (We were visiting son#1 who was studying there .). Well today son #2 took his 2 sons to that same spot and took this picture with his iPhone and shared it with us! How cool is that. And how many centuries was there no cage on that ledge ? Someone is making it hard for anyone to fall off today! I'm loving their instant photos /I'm sure mine was a slide one had to wait weeks to see and this is a digital not so great copy that he had on his iPhone ....i do have a better print.
