Mont Blanc

Day 12
Last day of trek and started from campsite and over river with the mist rising and a forecast of rain later in the day.
Had to take a longer route as tree felling was going on - not on the bit they said was closed - and the trees were crashing down the hillside.
It was another graded track through the woods with loads of interest. Flowers, mating tiger slugs, strawberries, blaeberries, paragliders, runners and wing-suit flyers. (what a mad sport, they came down between the trees at great speed and sounding like small planes).
There were also views and more views. First across to Mont Blanc and down to Chamonix (see extra) and then of Le Brevent, which we were climbing, and finally over to the next valley and along toward the first day's walk. Time to stop at the top and take is all in before heading down soft snowfields to the cable car and back to camp, and no rain.
