Patience

We had to go to Vancouver Island for an appointment today.   We had a bit of time before the ferry came in, so we went for a walk down the dock and spotted this heron perched on the float,  waiting patiently for breakfast that was obviously swimming between the float and the boat.  G hurried back to the car to get me the camera and I managed a very quick shot.
Busy days, and I haven't had time to reply to comments on my blips or to comment on others.  Hope to catch up soon.
