A Day Worth Recording

Lurker

As blipped previously, we have an annual party in the garden for friends past & present and at this party we typically hire a bouncy castle.

When the boys were small we'd hire one that also operated as a ball pool, with huge numbers of light plastic balls. Usually, there was some point in the party when battle ensued between those inside getting the balls out, and those outside trying to get them in again.

When the castle man came to collect we would have scoured the flowerbeds for stray balls but never find them all, and next year would present him with a carrier bag of ones we'd uncovered during the year.

This stopped several years ago, when the required size of castle was bigger than the ball-pool ones.

I was pruning the viburnum hedge (in the background) earlier this evening.

Look what I found...
