Watching

I decided on a trip to our nearest moorland fringe today - just a short drive from home. I soon realised I'd forgotten my binoculars, but the wildlife came to me so it wasn't too bad. I sat for most of the day by a pool where there were Dragon and Damselflies and plenty of butterflies. A Stoat came to take a close look at me - so close that I couldn't get a photo, and this Water Vole, which saw me before I saw him, but he sat and watched me for about 5 minutes. A Green-veined White and  a Black Darter in extras. Just a brilliant day!
