Goldfinch

This Goldfinch arrived today just as I was finishing my bird count. They are variable visitors to the garden, but seldom perch at the front, being happier towards the back where the hanging feeders are. This one very obligingly perched on one of the lanterns near the patio long enough for me to get a shot.
