Suicide Squad

Day one of holidays.
Sadly the first half of my day was spent at work, but as soon as the clock struck 12 noon the door was locked, the paperwork was done and the lights were off! Holiday time!

Two weeks off. Gonna be brilliant.

Mum and Dad were round to see the new house in all its splendour. They brought donuts. Which was nice.
Then it was off to town for a day out for myself and Mrs G. Couple of drinks, then suicide squad, then dinner at cosmos.

I was a bit apprehensive of Suicide Squad, the trailers looked brilliant, but a lot of the reviews were quite poor. Immediately I was reminded of Batman V Superman, which was a similar situation.
Thankfully this couldn't be more different. The movie was ace! Just the right amount of Joker and a cheeky cameo by a couple of dc super heroes. We loved it. And it will make a very worthy addition to our dvd collection when it comes out.
Dinner at cosmos was also very good. But it always is there. Managed three trips to the buffet but only one for the pudding section.
I must be getting old.

Roll on tomorrow for our first full day of holiday and absolutely nothing on the agenda.
