Poppy & wheat

I met J for coffee (which turned into a more sensible cold drink) in the morning & we discovered a really nice little coffee shop. They will be visited again. I have to try their scones and C their peanutbutter milkshake.

We spent the afternoon in the garden & did a bit of targert shooting to give the air rifle a bit of attention. It was nice to sit in the shade by choice, because it was too warm in the sun.

There must have been a communication gap somewhere as our guest didn't turn up, but we enjoyed the day and especially the food anyway.
