Edinburgh Fringe must see: Scottish Falsetto Socks

And so the 2016 Fringe binge begins...

Our first show this year was the Scottish Falsetto Sock Puppet Theatre at the Gilded Balloon at 10:30pm today, and what  a fabulous performance it was! Mr hazelh, Jon, Luisa and I laughed, and laughed, and laughed - as did everyone else. Indeed some of the audience members must have been almost as exhausted as the performer at the end of the show just from keeping up with all the jokes and silliness. The man sitting next to Luisa gave his belly a full workout with all his loud chortling.

There's a review of the show by Liverpool Sound and Vision. This gives a good summary of what to expect from the Socks and explains exactly why it is worth staying out so late to see them. If you're in Edinburgh in August 2016, this is a show not to be missed.

Earlier in the day we continued with the post-holiday catch-up. Mr hazelh put on six loads of washing, and I sorted through our photos ready for the big back-blip. I also went out for a run. This turned out to be a partial run due to knee pain at the half way stage :-(

Exercise today: 7k run (4.5k ran 2.5k walked), plus 5092 steps (walk to Bristo Square and back).
