All change

We have to get up early to tidy & pack. The Waterstones need to leave by 8 to get Bean to Tours on time for her flight. The rest of us are amazed how cool it is when you get up before 9 :)

The Bannermans depart in du course leaving the remainder to head for the Grand Etang at La Jemaye for a few hours of sun, sand and lake fun. It's a lot less busy than the last time we were here - really nice in fact. Claire, Angus& I have a great buffet du hour at the restaurant and then it's time for goodbyes. Two cars head for Bordeaux while Angus and I head east for Antonne et Trigonant for a few days of random hiking.

We've got plenty of left over food & booze, so we won't need to eat out tonight. We find a great campsite by accident and set up our hastily assembled camping kit: tent €14, mats €8 & €12, ceramic knife €3. We brought a couple of blankets with us, but we'll be cold & uncomfortable anyway. That's what camping is all about, right?
