Boucle du Lanmary

We woke late and went down to Antonne for "breakfast". The bakery was pretty much sold out, but Angus got a couple of Allumettes and a mini eclair. We bought a couple of portions of fried potatoes with mushrooms (to go) from the hot food van outside.

Then we set off on our long circuit through woods, up and down hills, via private castles and modernised retirement homes. Full details of the route are at http://www.france-voyage.com/outings/historic-walk-lanmary-forest-771.htm

By the time we got back to the campsite we were ready for a swim in the river. And then, refreshed, headed in for a curry in centre ville Perigueux. My Baigan Bartha was outstanding - Angus's lamb Mughli was good too. Mint tea for me and cardomom tea for him finished off a great day.
