Arrival

Actually the Blip is departures. Not much doing at 23.15. Next departure 05.55.

I was at the airport to meet Dr D off easyJet's 23.05 from Munich.

Having landed on time, it took her 55 minutes to emerge from the arrivals hall.

A wait for buses to the terminal. A long queue at passport control. A long wait for her bag. I suspect all that is the airport's doing, and not easyJet's.

For those visitors arriving from Frankfurt, Nice and Munich late at night, a truly horrible "welcome" to Scotland.    

For me, a long wait when I was very tired anyway and £12.90 for parking instead of £5.90. Maybe that's part of their business plan...

As I said to Dr D, there's no money in customer service as far as our airports are concerned.
