Didn't know what to do!

Today we had two things going on. Dane the electrician came along to fit spotlights into the kitchen ceiling while I was sanding and painting a wooden bed tray that Marlene wanted turned into a white bed tray. She doesn't use it in bed but does use it for her crafting things.
I did watch Dane for a while, it's good to watch an expert but thank goodness I did not undertake this task, it is quite beyond me with multiple wires coming from the, what was, two ceiling lights.
Extra shows 7 of the 8 spotlights he installed, couldn't get further back to include all 8.
Oh, and the other extra is the drill bit coming from the other side of the dining room wall into the conservatory where he fitted a double socket.

When the other tradesman, Lee, comes back from holiday on Friday he's going to pop around to give a quote to get rid of the ceiling artex in the kitchen, Utility, Dining Room, Sitting Room and Hallway. I don't think that's going to be cheap!
