River of Flowers

Wednesday: Gardening

Weather forecast was for rain early afternoon so I lifted the remainder of the potatoes in a deep bed behind the garage - so disappointing, less than a colander full and many were rotten, this wet weather is destroying a lot of plants and the wind has flattened the peas and beans :-((
In the emptied deep bed I planted Rainbow Chard, Wild Sea Cabbage and Broccoli Raab - haven't grown the last two before. This is the middle photo in today's blip, covered in net curtains to prevent the cat using the soil as a toilet!! Noticed the Lathyrus Sativus, pale blue pea flower in blip - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2062287157803877816 - grown last year.
Red Flowered Broad Bean is the third photo, also grown in previous years, apologies for quality of photos, it's pouring with rain!!
Had a nice cup of tea in the garden after finishing the gardening and a few minutes later the rain arrived and is most welcome :-))
