fish

Another cool but dry day, with a vigorous wind blowing this morning. After a slow start we took ourselves off to the west, first to Anstruther and then St. Monan's. The lighthouse at the end of Anstruther pier was looking particularly windswept and the wind was howling through the rigging of the yachts moored in the harbour.

A nice (but slow to arrive) lunch with fish chowder for +1/2 and fish & chips this evening from the Crail Fish Bar with fish pie and dinner at a fish restaurant in the last few days means we're well and truly stocked up on fish...

After lunch it was onwards to St. Monan's to have a look at the windmill, once used in the production of salt. Sadly not open to visit the inside today but the +3s made the most of the nearby playpark to let off some steam.

Tomorrow we decamp from Crail and move to the west; next stop Abernethy.
