Outclassed

The second weekend of the season and this week a trip to Nethermoor to watch Guiseley take on Dagenham and Redbridge who'd been relegated from League Two last season.

It's been a tough start to the season for Guiseley, with two defeats against full-time professional teams, Eastleigh and Wrexham. Such is the quality of the National League and such is the challenge of staying in it.

The Daggers are another of the full-time teams, and they took an early lead through Chris Assombalonga. Guiseley struggled to keep any possession but improved in the second half and threatened the goal a couple of times. It was Dagenham that claimed the second though, and they ended the game comfortable winners. Guiseley are still looking for the first point of the season.
