Quod oculus meus videt

Another Cloudy Day

On road crossing and poo-picking (don't ask) duties today.  While rider and horse set off elsewhere I'd notice the clouds did at least have some definition so went in search of some views.

The Sherbrook Valley is a sweeping crescent shaped feature in the western part of Cannock Chase.  it has the ability to provide one of the few locations in the area where you can encounter mist inversions and for a photographer to stand above it.  It wasn't going to happen at midday!  It may well be worth an early visit in the next few days as the heather is in full flower.
