Quod oculus meus videt

Harvested

Normal routine for Saturday, shopping followed by a visit to Mum.  I tend to gravitate towards the trees at Stonnall, particularly when the sky offers interesting patterns.

I don't normally shoot towards this direction because of electricity pylons in the distance.  The low viewpoint helped, but meant that two of the trees were mostly obscured by the undulations of the field.  It is interesting to see other Blippers images involving harvesting and particularly straw bales.  Funnily enough the farmer had left just one small bale in the field; I can't understand why.  I preferred using tractor tyre marks to provide foreground interest.
