Lord Hay's Branch Sunrise

Popped out first thing to the Wyrley and Essington Canal, hoping for good conditions.  There was just a bit of mist coming up from the water, but the colour came from the cloud above, allowing the rising sun to to illuminate the underside.  It was a really calm, also allowing reflections on the water.

I've just been watching on TV the walking event at the World Athletic Championships.  Bizarrely,  I've just heard the commentators mention the it is world left handed day!  As one of the 10% it caused me to look up 13 facts about us 'lefties'.
