Singers Hill

Singers Hill Synagogue in Birmingham was built in 1856 for the local Hebrew congregation. It is a beautiful and intriguing listed building and every time I walk past it I can imagine the chanting of the worship inside. Outside is silence until a car meanders past.

To link with the monomonday sound theme, you can also have the alliteration of the title, The soft S sounds representing the whispering ghosts of this old building. Singers Hill also seems to make a relevant contribution to the theme too.
