Revelation in the distraction

Taking some quiet reflective time at the end of a fairly frenetic day at work. Silence and listening to the cool evening breeze in the trees. Then enjoyed the latest thought provoking podcast from David Hosey who quotes Henri Nouwen on experiencing solitude as often being a time when distractions vie for attention in the mind like "monkeys in a banana tree".
