Durnstein

Another beautiful town along the River Danube, Durnstein has a link with English history relating to Richard the Lionheart, who had apparently insulted Leopold V during the Crusades in 1193 and consequently ended up a prisoner in the castle on top of the hill.

We climbed to the top, a long hot climb, but it did add a lot of steps onto the Fitbit.
