Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Blue and White

Full on summer here in the gulf islands....the Monday morning ferry was 100% full, the Marina is full, the harbor is pretty full. We appreciated the quiet on our end of the island, albeit with lots of outboard noise... Still managed a tiny nap before the project of the day... to take the 6 70 lb. golf cart batteries in the boat to the car on Galiano.....one at a time from the studio where the golf cart is dead, down our ramp and up this blue public dock ( it used to be a red government dock and the Sturdies Bay ferry used to come in here) ) ramp at high tide (so close to flat, ) Wednesday we will drive to Parkville on Vancouver island to exchange for new ones and cross our fingers that the golf cart will then work! We're way too old to be schkepping too much stuff up the hill to the cabin by hand. :-) like today.
I thought the blip of all these blue and white dinghies was better than a photo of the batteries. ..... It was so crowded we watched many people search around for a place to disembark.
And now to bed early. I'm way behind with comments.. Will do better in the morning I promise. Oskar face timed us at 2:15 AM last night upon arriving back from his European trip and forgetting it was the middle of the night here! Darling. :-)
