EIDER EVENING

Coffee and lunch with the Wild Girls today, including mountains of cake. I brought some leftovers home which were pounced on by B, and then - once we could both move again - we thought a walk was in order. Eiders and kittiwakes enhanced the evening.

My dear Mum is 88 today, and I've been trying to call her all day but I think her phone is out of order, as it too often is. Sister R was taking her out to lunch but her phone is on answer phone too, so I hope they're out clubbing together. Either that or Mum's full of red wine and too fast asleep in front of the very loud TV to hear the phone. We'll catch up tomorrow.
