A beautiful morning on Kintyre.

After a long walk on the beach in Carradale we drove south to Campbeltown and then north to Tayinloan to catch the 2pm ferry to Gigha.

A few hours familiarising ourselves with the island - being 7 miles (12km) long that doesn't take much time.

Last stop was the Boathouse for dinner. Wow! The island has a halibut farm, so guess what we ate. A few langoustine tails and scallops to whet the appetite.

The Blip is the view from the bedroom in our hotel in Carradale. The extras are from the beach in Carradale and dusk on Gigha.
