It Started Down Under

Monastery Girl

Today we went for a walk and visit the waterfalls of Mortain. The big one (not very impressive, but a waterfall nonetheless) was the one we actually walked to. Took some photos, walked on and all the way through another part of the village by a small church while it started raining.

On our way back to the cars we walked by the monastery that was supposed to be open to public a few days a week according to the travelguide of an uncle... Unfortunately the monks had died long since the book was written and now there was not much of activity left. The building still stood tall and here a young girl is enjoying the arches of the gallery.

My girl and I walked to the small waterfalls too, but on our way there we lost the group and eventually made it back to the cars where the others had already left except for one. Some miscommunication on both sides I guess. A nice day despite the bit of rain.

This evening we ate chicken. Not all of it was eaten and we took the entire week to finish the final chicken...
