Knit one purl one

On the railings, the whole length of Herne Bay
Pier, are these delightful knitted people. Herne Bay is on the North Coast of Kent and apparently the air is do clear as there is no land between there and the Arctic Circle.

It was a typical English seaside scene at Herne Bay today. Glorious sunshine (not typically British ) families having fun on the beach, ice cream parlours full, and for us a great freshly ground espresso on the pier.

My extra is the traditional Helter Skelter on the end of the pier.
