Fishing Lagoon Entrance

Out and about photographing city views this morning when I realized I haven't shot the canal for quite some time. The sky was just clearing to the north, turning a nice shade of blue after some morning clouds, but still enough cloud cover to the east to provide a enough sun diffusion to make the contrast manageable. I shot this same scene without any boats, however, this particular view requires a least one boat for context. Fortunately there were multiple boats heading out for a day of work, giving me plenty of opportunities to capture just the composition I wanted.
