Even pretty when fallen

Life is crazy in Edinburgh in August, especially in an Olympics year. It's all a bit of a feat to operate 'normally' (work and exercise) when you also want to see shows, catch up with family/friends/visitors, and keep up to date on the medals. Today, however, I managed quite well:

Work: 4 meetings, 1 supervision, reviewing work (draft PhD report and a draft journal article), catching up with PhD students (3)
Exercise: walked to work and back again
Show: Andrew Maxwell
Catching up with friends/family/visitors: met Mr hazelh for a curry after work, then bumped into a work colleague (from meeting number 2 today) and his mother (who invited us to her house for coffee next time we are in her neighbourhood - she lives quite close to my parents)
Medals: caught the end of the hockey match - very exciting!

I blipped these petals at our front door when we reached home. They have fallen from the hanging baskets.

Exercise today: 19,068 steps.
