Three roses!

A lady who country danced with us for a number of years is now no longer able to. Sarah now walks with a stick and  sometimes comes along to watch us, but she was a good country dancer in her day. 

We heard that she had had a special birthday recently, so some of us decided to take her to lunch.  She had been very secretive about it, and didn't want a fuss, but we thought she deserved a treat. 

She was also reluctant to have her photo taken, but I managed to get one of her and another friend.  Sarah has just turned ninety, and Margaret is eighty.  Country dancing must be good for you!!!!

And on the way home I spotted another rose, so blipped it too!!!!
