Dingle

After such a miserable evening last night, this morning dawned foggy but soon cleared to a wonderful pristine day.  The landscape was nicely washed!!
Our BnB was outstanding, the best yet, and the couple running it so friendly.  After a classy breakfast (not the normal Irish Breakfast) we headed into Dingle and enjoyed a walk about the marina and some of the streets.  A fabulous place, which was heaving  with holiday makers.
We headed off to travel the Dingle loop – it sure was a photography day, stopping along the way when there was a pull off place.  The rocky shorelines I loved, but also enjoyed seeing the little groups of houses tucked into the hills with the stone walled fields.
We stopped and paid our 6 Euro to climb the hill (just 2 minutes the sign said, I disagree) to visit the Beehive structures, dating back to 12 AD – can you believe that??  Incredible and I did take some pictures, but will put to my blog at some stage.  Was given some information which was very helpful to understand what it was all about.
I have put in some extras tonight, all from Dingle, the loop and me at the top of the Connor Pass.  Sadly a lady cyclist was killed yesterday on this stretch of road, it was very wet and she was engulfed in the fog/low cloud.
We are now at a seaside village (big village) of Kilkee.  Our accommodation doesn’t have wifi in the rooms so am loading in the foyer.  We enjoyed walking the extensive beach shortly after we arrived, lots of families enjoying the beach and swimming also.  Great to see.
This is the last week of the school holidays I understand, so families enjoying the warmth (yes warmth).

PS no extras as the connections here is hopeless
