New Bridge

Today was the first day of competition and such is the scale of the event that the main road through the area was shut for the day as everyone had to cross it at the end of their course. We had starts more than an hour different, so I had a good time trying to get a different sort of orienteering picture from usual. After crossing the road everyone had to use a newly constructed bridge to get over the people walking to the start. As the wood was nice and new the surface acted like a giant reflector and allowed the runners to be well lit. This is my blip for the day. It was warm again.
