Two Friends

Two friends that were quite happy to smile at passers by, people who were quite happy to stop and admire - the work of a local artist, Caroline Trevella.

Caroline is the first to create and hang these silhouettes along the fences which surround our cordened earthquake buildings. A project opened to anyone who would like to create and brighten our main street, the silhouettes are all the same shape but are handed out blank.

Great idea - but wait.

Two friends both started out with heads, only up for a short time before one became headless. Unfortunately as our community has grown so has the riff raff, I was disappointed to see this and hope it doesn't discourage others to create their own silhouettes - why can't people just leave things alone.

A late blip for me and yesterdays is a backblip, been a bit quiet here with tired eyes, sleepless nights and not feeling one hundred percent - I hope to catch up in days to come.
