Seeing double or triple

With so much building work going on the pedestrians are protected by these annoying covered walkways. They are annoying as the width is restricted and I can't rush past.

As buildings take some time to go up they are there for quite a while.

My replacement knitting needle has arrived today and the postman didn't bend it.

It was rather warm in London today but it has been hotter and it will be tomorrow. I've found the secret of coping is to carry a bottle of cold water and occasionally pour some down ones back. Brrrrrrr
