Sparkle

The sparkle of the morning had to be captured.

I stood for a while watching the water taxis negotiate past each other.  The new jetty near the Millennium Bridge means that there is lots of activity.  You can see them in the extra photo.

And then I stood for a while watching them build the new jetty near Blackfriars Bridge

The train was really empty this morning (and evening) as people had been warmed that it would be really hot.

it was warm but not unbearably hot.

And I forgot that the other important aid to walking in the heat is an ice lolly. As I concentrate on not letting it drip I forget how warm I am.
