Why did I come in here?

By Bootneck

Busy Garden Fairy apprentice.

Moving towards September and the equinoctial gales (Yes it is spelt correctly - equinox is the period) which commence mid-September, the lad thought it wise to replace the greenhouse glass that was smashed during the final gales of last winter. Pat on head from the Garden Fairy and then left alone to smoke a pipe. Me, not her. :-))
This autumn we are going to have about 40 - 50 cuttings from Aeoniums putting down their roots ready for next spring. They'll make fine pressies, anybody needing sun and drought tolerant plants please put your bids in on a white fiver.
The dragon jars are from Sarawak, they cost Malay $4 or a £1 back in 1982. We also have a huge one that cost M$6, dread to think how much a garden centre would charge.
