Big American Adventure - Day Two

Started the day doing the 'Uptown Loop' on an open top bus with a very entertaining tour guide. Got off beside the Guggenheim Museum and went in to Central Park. It is huge and on such a hot day it was very busy. After walking around a lot and losing our bearings a few times we came out beside the Dakota building outside which John Lennon was shot.

We then managed to negotiate the subway and headed to the Rockefellar centre. Queued for tickets for the 'Top of the Rock' and as our timed slot was at 7.35pm we were at the top as the sun began to set. There was an amazing 360° view of New York City but the experience was slightly marred by the amount of people jostling for the best position with their cameras, phones and selfie sticks!
