Definitely art

A busy day running around the city mainly doing brexit related business in the first part of the day, a meeting in the afternoon to show a prospective fellow around the institute, then in the evening taking in a performance of Richard III, in German and mainly but not always in clothing, at the Lyceum. A very gory Clarence death scene.... And the best part of 3 hours sitting without an interval in the cheap seats. That was nearly the death of me.

And finally a drink with L. We may not meet up again before he leaves on Saturday. It's been fun. Cheers, L!

At lunchtime I was at the Scottish Parliament for a meeting, so had a quick look - in bright sunshine - at the "Anything that Gives off Light" installation outside. If the idea was to bring extra light to the sometimes dull Scottish August, then today was the not the day when it was needed.
