A Terrible Mistake

it might not look like a disaster but I can promise you I won't be going.  Why would anyone want to drink Bindings Bier? Bindings is horrible.  It's as if they made Skol the main Bier for Oktoberfest.  Why would you go?

A hot day here again (about 34°C when I left just after 3) - I was the only person in the office this afternoon so I ran around naked and ate ice lollies so I managed to get a few bits and pieces done.

My meeting this morning was a disaster.  One of the people taking part spoke a variety of German that I've never heard before.  I had no idea what they were talking about.  I know my subjects and I know what I'm talking about but it sounded to me like they were deliberately using obscure words and weird sentence formations.  Maybe that passes for fun in some departments.

Anyway - I stood up, I spoke Peter German (slow, simple and factually correct) and demonstrated that my stuff does what they wanted.  And after 2 hours of that, I was kaputt.

It's meant to be hotter tomorrow.  Autsch (which is where the English "ouch" comes from).
