Puffballs.

At least that is all I can make them into.  They are certainly fungi and have been there a while and not progressed past this stage.  If they were normal fungi I would expect the stalk to have shown by now.

I haven't examined them in detail as I wanted to blip them.  I will probably have a poke tomorrow and try to get a better identification, but currently I am going for common puffball.

The rest of the day was a normal Saturday with the lodge to prep for the next guests.
