Ladywell Park

Colin and I are down in Bannockburn for the weekend doing a bit more house clearing and visiting mum. She's been poorly this week but brightened up when we popped in. We took a walk this afternoon to watch the cricket as my brothers were playing, using the shortcut through the Ladywell Park where I spent many happy hours as a child. It looks so different now with no play equipment in the lower park, and many of the paths redone but the main difference was the lack of people. On a sunny day in August in the sixties it would have been hoaching!
