The sad news is that Alfie the ginger cat who often features in my blips has died of kidney failure. It seems strange that he doesn't appear out of no where to greet me when I get home, or just wander in the open back door to see who is about to make a fuss of him. Lisa (his proper owner from next door) and I had a little cry this afternoon.
