Dodging midges (Day 475)

I wandered up the hill with the dogs this morning in a very light rain shower. It wasn't enough to describe it as rain, and it was really too warm for walking with a sweatshirt on.
Back home the morning passed as coffee was drunk and various little jobs were done.
After lunch my beautiful wife and I collected Evie the Wonderdog and headed to Warbeth. I stood around for a while holding the dogs whilst HV helped Ej and Ally put escaped cattle back in a field.
I liked the clouds over Hoy Sound. They promised showers that never came. The windless day meant flat calm sea but ravening hoardes of midges.
We topped off a grand day with a fab dinner with Mum and Dad.
