Train Window

Shot on the train ride home.  I believe this was at Blaak Station, Rotterdam.

We left the B&B in Windsor at 10.00 and took the bus through Slough to Heathrow, where we were two hours too early, which was good for hubby as he could take his time.  He explained why this was good for his breathing.  I'll see how I can fix it this way all the time.  The plane left half an hour late but arrived 10 minutes early ... never mind how that happened, we were just pleased to get back.  Bro-in-law J couldn't fetch us as he and M are in France, so we just took the train.  Hubby asked if I would like to wait at the station in our village while he went and fetched the car, and I suggested we pretend our house was a B&B and why don't we just walk to it the way we did the past four weeks?  That was fun!  Home by 22.00.

A short summary --
30 days of adventure
29 days of fabulous summer weather (one drizzly day at Stonehenge)
9 B&Bs (the best one in Churchdown near Gloucester, the most expensive in Bath, the worst in Salisbury -- breakfast in paper bags hung on the door, the cheapest in Leicester -- no breakfast offered)
1 really cozy home (heartfelt thanks, Mad Hen!)
15 blippers!
3650 photographs in 22 albums, all post-processed and labelled
(not counting all those I've chucked in the bin, of course)
A really fab time with hubby ... thank you!
