Life through the lens...

Mono Monday " sight".

These two have their sights set on a piece of that chocolate cake.

Our local pub had their Fleece Feast today.
It included a Bake Off competition, and afterwards the cakes were sold piece by piece for charity.
There was also a beer tent with many craft beers.
A Prosecco tent, which also had cocktails, and pimms.
Live music from several local groups.
Lots of food, from hog roast to lobster.
For the children there was face painting, bouncy castle, and games.
Something for all the family, and it was so nice to see such a good turn out from the village.
Clear blue sky and sunshine. What a change for a Bank Holiday.

We spent this morning cutting the hedge and some shrubs. Treated ourselves to some new shears. What a difference they made. A joy to use!
( I am old fashioned and prefer hand ones to an electric hedge cutter )

Now having a sit outside making the most of the weather.

I hope you have all enjoyed Bank Holiday Monday too.
