Bug not in a rug

Bit of a ho-hum day today. I should have gone for a bike ride but couldn't quite motivate myself and the weather as never great. Instead we had a chat with a friend and pottered round the house.

Today's blip is a bug I spotted in the wild flower lawn when I went out to scatter some seeds we collected from a neighbour. I think it's a 4th or 5th stage instar of green shield bug (Palomena prasina).

In the evening we watched another stage of Vuelta a España followed by some more episodes of the very corny French action series "No Limit" on All4.
