Shropshire Union Canal

Got up early and went over to Tim's Mum's - grabbed some breakfast, then we all (Tim and me, his Mum, three siblings, three nephews and the dog) headed out in a couple of cars to Norbury Junction, where we picked up our hire (narrow) boat.  It was such a lovely chilled out day - Tim's brother did all the 'driving' and we went as far as we could, then stopped for some lunch on the boat, then headed back again.  

Stan the dog seemed a little anxious at first - after a while, Tim took him off the boat for a walk along the towpath and soon realised that his problem had been needing a rather large wee!  The extra photo is of Stan waiting to get off the boat :)

We went back to Tim's Mum's for the evening and all had a Chinese for dinner - then Tim and I went back to our hotel for the night.
