The Meadows, Edinburgh

Evening all,

Stopped by the Meadows last night to grab some shots of the fireworks. The Meadows just like Princes Street Gardens was once a loch. This was the South Loch, and was also a place where plague victims may have been dumped. So nice setting to watch a firework display - We have a nice dark setting looking into the night where possibly corpses where dumped in to a large pit somewhere around the meadows.

Nice ;-)
